Reflecting on a successful 2023
29 December 2023
As the curtains draw on 2023, Assemble Media Group reflects upon a transformative year for the business, from breaking ground through impactful editorial campaigns to celebrating awards success. Assemble would like thank its readers, clients and partners for their support and contributions to a brilliant 12 months.
2023 marked Building’s 180th birthday and this milestone was acknowledged with a new initiative to instigate radical change within the built environment via the Building the Future Commission. As it navigated the complexities of an industry with many challenges, our UK-wide roundtables, numerous forms of content and inaugural conference fostered creativity, fuelled discussion and gained widespread recognition within the community and beyond. Alongside this, our events, programmes, data products and editorial coverage has also flourished, reaching and servicing thousands of built environment professionals.
This year will also be remembered for clinching eight prestigious awards at a number of renowned events. This included the digital publisher of the year award at the AOPs for Assemble, plus success for our editorial brands and people at the PPA awards, PPA Independent Awards, PPA Next Gen and the International Building Press Awards. Seeing our exceptional publishing content and events getting the appreciation it deserves has been fantastic.
Cameron Marshall, commercial director, had this to say about Assemble’s activity this year:
2023 was an exceptionally positive year across the business, realised through impactful events, campaigns, awards success, and powerful partnerships. Across our portfolio of best-in-class B2B brands, we continue to prioritise creating value for our customers and producing quality content for the markets we serve. Thanks to all our customers and partners for their continued support this year, and with a successful 2023 almost behind us, we look forward to working with you on an even better 2024!
Looking ahead to 2024, the Building the Future commission will evolve into a think tank, continuing to be an agent for change through trying to influence industry action and government policy. There’s a number of new content streams and data dashboards currently in development. Plus, Assemble are looking to expand its teams across the board as we continue to grow.
Assemble wishes everyone a Happy New Year and can’t wait tor return to educate, engage, evaluate and entertain in 2024.
