Marketing executive

Overview

We are looking for a bright marketing executive to join and support the group marketing manager and commercial team. You will be responsible for helping to drive impactful campaigns to further develop our brand presence, generate engagement and conversions, optimise lead generation and bolster customer experience/retention.

Working across a busy events calendar, including webinars, sponsored events and industry awards, you will need to be a highly motivated fast learner with the ability to prioritise workloads under pressure to meet deadlines and support our growing team.

Ideally, you will have had some experience working in marketing or events, competent in programmes across Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and be enthusiastic about building a career in the media sector.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Develop and execute email and digital marketing campaigns, including analysis of performance to foster growth and retention.

• Create and schedule content with visual collateral including video across all our social channels to support programme events, awards and subscriptions.

• Lead Generation: Identify target audiences, develop compelling offers, and create marketing campaigns that generate high-quality leads

• Design and creative work for commercial team for sales collateral, ongoing programme events, awards and ad hoc campaigns for print, online and social media

• Overseeing website updates and maintenance to ensure brand alignment.

• Monitor competitor marcomms for insight and growth

Skill set

Essential:

• Previous experience working in marketing or events, or relevant qualification

• Working knowledge of email marketing tools such as Campaign Monitor, Adestra etc.

• Proficiency in managing social media and scheduling across multiple platforms using Hootsuite

• High computer literacy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

• Working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

Desirable:

• Familiarity with different CMS (Content Management Systems)

• Basic knowledge of video creating/editing using software such as Canva or Animoto

Hybrid work policy

While we have a hybrid work policy, we require the successful applicant to come to our East London office regularly, especially during the induction period and whenever needed for meetings. You will also be expected to attend several industry events.
